  • Markey Group - Payroll Administrator

  • We currently have a vacancy for a Payroll Administrator within our Accounts Department.

    The main purpose of the role includes the administration of all Payrolls within the Group, ensuring that payments to staff are paid on time, comply with all regulations and are recorded and audited as appropriate.

    The main duties and responsibilities within the role include:

    1. Process of all Group weekly and monthly payrolls including pensions, sickness, statutory payments and bonus schemes relating to each individual payroll and organisation.

    2. Year-end duties and completion of P35, P60’s and P11ds.

    3. Preparation and posting of journals into Sage 50

    4. Various monthly reporting to internal and external bodies

    5. Fully responsible for all areas of the payroll and pension schemes

    6. Candidate requires strong system skills including Sage Payroll, Sage Accounts and Excel
